The new Pelikan M805 Stresemann is just starting to become available from retailers around the world and it’s finally arrived in the US.
- It features rhodium trim, which is my favorite!
- The nib is entirely rhodium plated instead of the two tone rhodium and gold nibs that are traditionally used, even on rhodium trimmed pens.
- The Anthracite Grey is a variation of the pinstripe pattern. Except for the M800 Tortoise, limited production M800s have been some kind of translucent or transparent demonstrator. This is an exciting change of pace!
Pelikan has been a favorite of mine for a long time. The M800, M805, and M1000 in my collection are constantly inked due to their comfortable size, quality construction, and reliability. They’re a brand that I believe delivers a solid product at every price point, whether it’s the $20 Twist or the $800 Streseman seen here, which is why I’ve decide to become an authorized Pelikan retailer.
I won’t be stocking a lot of items and I have no intentions of competing with retailers like the Chatterley Luxuries or Fahrney’s or the like. My goal in choosing to become a Pelikan retailer is to offer you as much value as possible at the best prices. I will hand test every pen to make sure it writes perfectly when you get it, unless you wish otherwise, and will be offering a discount on any nib services when purchased with a pen.
FPGeeks is currently offering a special pre-order price of $600 on the M805 Stresemann and $155 of the M200 Café Crème. Delivery of the Stresemann is expected in mid-April while the Café Crème should be here in mid-March.
